How Sweet It Is
BUILD hosted "How Sweet It Is," an evening of sweet music, sweets, a sweet silent auction and open bar on October 9, 2007 at Davenport's in Wicker Park. Celebrity pastry chef Elissa Narow of Spring and Custom House supplied the sweets, and jazz singer and mainstay in the Chicago music scene Holly McGuire performed along with longtime accompanist John Sabal on piano. All proceeds benefited BUILD's programs.
