Dia De Los Muertos/ Day of Remembrance

Please come out for a night of celebration and remembrance on November 1 as we honor the Latin American tradition of Dia De Los Muertos.
We’ll be at Erie Elementary Charter School located at 1405 N Washtenaw Ave from 4pm-6pm commemorating our loved ones who have moved on to the next life. Families and community members can partake in the building of an altar, the decoration of sugar skulls, arts and crafts, face painting and music. For those unable to attend this event, we will have an altar on display at BUILD headquarters, which can be accessed during business hours until November 10. Visitors are invited to bring mementos and light a candle to honor loved ones.
