Resiliency in Communities After Stress and Trauma (ReCAST) Community Resilience Survey

The Community Resilience Survey allows us to tell the stories of people in our communities that change the narrative from struggle to strength. We want to highlight what good things are happening in your community. Results from this survey will also help us to better understand what the community needs and where we can work to improve our efforts and provide better programs and services. The Community Resilience Survey was created by ReCAST Community Ambassadors at community organizations, BUILD and Universal Family Connection.

Resilience is defined as the awareness and power of a person, family, organization or community to find, use and create resources to recover from challenges and generate positive change.

The Community Resilience Survey is an opportunity for you to make your voice heard and to contribute to positive change. This survey was also made especially for youth, by other youth in the community. Youth voice is critical, so we really want young people to make their voices heard by taking the survey.

After we collect survey responses, the ReCAST community ambassadors will host a community forum where we can come together (virtually if needed) and talk about the results and make plans to better improve the community.

During challenging times such as these, community resilience is what brings us together and gives us strength. We ask that you help us and help your community by taking the survey, so we can build resiliency together.
