BUILD Celebrates Donor Appreciation Week

This past week, we took time to honor and thank the people who make the mission of BUILD possible: our donors. Throughout Donor Appreciation Week, we highlighted the support of donors like Alicia and Robert, who discovered BUILD through an online search and decided to get involved. And Sarah, a Chicago native who is a social worker in New York and has has held two third party fundraisers to support BUILD’s programs.

We capped off Donor Appreciation Week with an open house for our donors. During the open house, our guests were able to see our facility and see the impact of their support firsthand with youth-led tours of our urban farm, experience a Brand BUILD jewelry demonstration with our young people, and explore our Block 51 Arts Academy with an art demonstration by youth artists.

We want to thank our donors for their kindness and generosity in supporting our youth, and we are beyond grateful for your friendship.
